Going Green To Conserve Resources $$$ 

We have all heard various ways we can conserve resources by “Going Green”.  Your Board of Directors has found a way to “Go Green” by conserving your “green”.

In an effort to conserve money, we have decided to inform homeowners through our renovated website! 

Anyone who does not have access to a computer can still request their newsletter come through the mail twice a year, by calling any one of our Board Members

By checking our website you are able to access information in a timely manner.  Neighborhood updates, security information, upcoming events will all be posted on the website.

The cost of postage, and copies continues to go up, and the time commitment involved in preparing mail outs is incredible. By using our website we are able to get information to homeowners quickly, and at your convenience. We are able to cut our expenses considerably, and cut back on the amount of paper waste we have created in the past!

Opportunities to
Join the Board

There are many opportunities to join in the activities of the Homeowners Association.  We are in need of the following positions:

Membership:  We need members to help with updating the membership roster, as well as mail outs during our membership drive (June-August). 

Beautification:  Volunteers needed to choose and vote for yard of the month.  Consider helping to plant flowers at our entrances on occasion.

Social Committee:  We can always use fresh ideas for social events.

Crime Watch:  With our new focus on eliminating crime in our neighborhood, we are in need of someone to organize our crime watch schedule, and for several homeowners to participate in our neighborhood watch V.I.P. Program.  Also needed is someone to send out email alerts to members.

Newsletter:  Someone to organize, and prepare our bi-monthly newsletter which will be featured on our newly renovated web-site.

Many of our Association Members have indicated their interest in getting involved!!!!  Here’s your chance.  Consider these opportunities.  None of the above involves much of a time commitment, though they are too much for the 4 Board Members to do alone.  If you have 15- 30 minutes a month, to spare, you are a perfect candidate!  Contact Monica to sign up, and share your talents with the neighborhood; 972.733.4806.  Talk to you soon J
